Preparation of a legal opinion on the possible application of Western sanctions against our client, who planned to conclude a general construction contract with a Russian corporation.
Scope of Services
Preparation of a legal opinion, including the issue of applicable OFAC sanctions, and participation in the preparation of a complex cooperation agreement between the client and its Russian counterparty. The scope of services included advising the client on the legal issues of running a construction business in the Russian Federation, the procedure and conditions for concluding a memorandum of cooperation, its further implementation (corporate, civil, urban planning, land, labor, currency legislation, etc.).
