In the course of the case, we identified falsification of documents and prove to the court that the plaintiff did not have the necessary primary documentation in the proper form. The case was completed in favor of the client.
Core of the Case
As part of the agreement with RD Construction Management AO, the client carried out foundation work for the construction of an Olympic facility – a swimming pool (Luzhniki), purchased building materials and rented equipment from partners of RD Construction Management AO. Then RD Construction Management AO, by assignment, obtained the rights from its partners to collect debts from our client for the supply of materials and rent and filed a lawsuit in court to recover the debt.

In the course of the case, we identified falsification of documents and prove to the court that the plaintiff did not have the necessary primary documentation in the proper form. The case was completed in favor of the client. The amount of debt for the client was significant and could lead to bankruptcy, since this case could provide the opportunity of bringing new claims under similar contracts totaling to even more significant amounts. With the loss of this case, the counterparty actually lost this opportunity.
